  Closure Mobile Wound Care delivers specialized wound care directly to patients’ homes and assisted living communities across Rutherford and Polk Counties, North Carolina. Our mission is simple yet powerful — Bringing Closure to Chronic Wounds — by providing precise, hands-on treatment where comfort, convenience, and healing meet, at home. 


We remove the barriers to care by coming to you, ensuring timely interventions, personalized attention, and continuity of treatment that accelerates healing and restores peace of mind for patients and families alike.  

Your Provider

 Colden O'Dell, FNP-C, WCC, a native of Rutherford County, provides expert wound care with a singular focus—getting patients healed and back to living fully. With 8 years experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and more than 25 years as a registered nurse, 


Colden specializes in advanced wound assessment and treatment, including sharp debridement, diabetic foot care, pressure injury management, compression therapy, and skin substitute applications. His approach blends clinical excellence with genuine personal care, ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and confident in their healing journey— your recovery isn’t just a goal, it’s a commitment.

We offer comprehensive wound care including wound evaluations, sharp debridement, dressing selection and management, compression therapy, skin substitute applications, and ongoing wound monitoring—all delivered directly in patients’ homes or assisted-living communities.


Yes. We accept Medicare, NC Medicaid, BCBS North Carolina (Medicare plans), Aetna, and Humana insurance plans. 

Self-pay options are also available for non-covered services or select / offered, concierge services.


We provide mobile wound care throughout Rutherford and Polk Counties, seeing patients both in private homes and assisted-living facilities to reduce travel and improve access to care.


In most cases, no referral is needed. Patients, caregivers, facilities, and physicians can contact us directly to request an evaluation. We coordinate with primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.


We specialize in treating chronic and non-healing wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and pressure injuries.


Do not remove your dressing unless it becomes soaked, falls off, causes pain, numbness, or feels too tight. If this happens, you may remove it and apply a clean, dry dressing until your next visit. If the wound suddenly worsens, seek urgent or emergency care.



Go to the Urgent Care or ER immediately if you have heavy bleeding that won’t stop, fever over 101°F, chills, rapidly spreading redness or swelling, severe pain, trouble breathing, confusion, or blackened tissue around the wound. These symptoms need urgent medical care.


No. Closure Mobile Wound Care does not prescribe controlled substances or opioid pain medications. These medications must be managed by the patient’s primary care provider or pain specialist.
